Hello SF members!

It had been a while since "I" or anyone updated this blog or I would say it had been a while since SF are no longer existed in your heart or mind. WHY? Perhaps everyone is busy with their new life, their new friends and even their new goal. So, here I am today! To emphasize the importance of our friendship!

As far as I know, sincere friends means everlasting friendship that can't be broken. Definitely harder than stainless steel or metal! If our friendship was as soft as bean curd, I would rather eat it rather than wasting our time on it? What do you reckon?

Definitely some people out there will be disagreeing! If our friendship was as soft as bean curd then I would have fried it and even preserved it into smelly bean curd? haha... At least smelly bean curd taste good even though it really stinks.

Someone out there need to make the first move. Someone need to remember the time when you were down the hill, who helped you out! Who pulled you out of the dirty and muddy hole when everyone was keeping a distance from you! Who made you think of them when you are bored or even 10 to 20 years later?

The best thing would be you have things to share with your children or grandchildren!

So, when a person made the first move, people who are invited accept it! Or it can be your turn to start the invitation! There's no rules stating that the extrovert person has to plan everything or the person who are free to plan everything! Time to make changes for you and for everyone . AS a matter of fact, don't ever criticize on the person who volunteer in planning the event. Hello?! people, volunteer means doing it for free! Doing it for the sake of friendship and not for benefit purpose.. Time to think it again, before you regret that you had lost your sincere friends.

Secondly, don't ever betray or back stab your friends by creating fake rumor! If you are in your 16 I wouldn't even bother about it because you are still in your sweet 16 but for those who are mature enough (if you think you are mature) please be one and try not to ruin your friendship! Gossip is an OK because who never gossip in this world? (hmmm... maybe there are but out of the million maybe there are 1) but creating fake rumor, betray your friends or even creates harm to them is definitely a NO!

Do I sound over reacted towards "friendship" well, because I could see and felt that the "sincere friends" starting to create gap...

May everyone in this world found their true friendship that are everlasting and may SF friendship which was created since few years ago are able to avoid this thunderstorm!

Lesson from Geese

Interesting post to share...

FACT 1:

As each goose flaps its wings it creates an "uplift" for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.

LESSON:

People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.

FACT 2:

When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of it.

LESSON:

If we have as much sense as a goose we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give our help to others.

FACT 3:

When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into formation and another goose flies to the point position.

LESSON:

It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each other's skills, capabilities and unique arrangements of gifts, talents or resources.

FACT 4:

The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.

LESSON:

We need to make sure our honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement, the production is much greater. The power of encouragement (to stand by one's heart or core values and encourage the heart and core of others) is the quality of honking we seek.

FACT 5:

When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.

LESSON:

If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.

Cakes are part of the birthday terms and here comes the recipe for you...

Strawberry Sweety

Ingredients for sponge cake:

6 eggs
120 gm. castor sugar
140 gm. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla essence
80 gm. melted butter

Filling:

120 gm. whipped Fresh Cream
100 gm. strawberry filling

Method:

(1) Whisk eggs and sugar till thick and fluffy.
(2) Sieve in cake four and vanilla essence and fold lightly.
(3) Pour in melted butter and fold lightly taking care not to deflate the eggs.
(4) Pour into a square tray 15" x 15" and bake at 175C for about 10 - 12 Mins. or till cooked. Remove from oven and turn onto a wire rack and let it cool.
(5) Cut the sponge cake into 3 pieces.
(6) Spread a little fresh cream on top then spread with some strawberry filling. Repeat till finish but the top, just spread with fresh cream. Cut into small squares.
(7) Put some strawberry filling into a piping bag and pipe some jam on top and decorate as desired.

Labels that had been used are "Birthday", "Farewell", "Gathering", "News", "Personal details", "pictures", "SF-Karyee", "Trips", "Share"

"Birthday" - Things that related to Birthday

"Gathering" - Any gathering updates

"Personal details" - To update your contact details etc but not recommended to use.

"News" - Updates about things that related to SF blog and SF group in facebook.

"pictures" - Random pictures that you want to share (not only about SF members pictures but also other random ones)

"Trips" - Proposal of upcoming trips or entry about the outcome of the trips

"Share" - Sharing your feelings, your thoughts and opinion (?)

It is also highly recommended that you could label your post as "SF-(your name)"

Dear Sincere Friend members,

As most of you should know, Sincere Friend (SF) group was created in facebook and it is a closed group which means in order to be a member you had to get approved by one of the admis. I hope that everyone in SF can be admin of the group and if there are any new member you could add them in a condition of getting approval from at least 5 SF members.

I hope that everyone in facebook who are the member of SF can reply the discussion board and let me know what position you wanted to hold so that I could update the admin asap. For those who does not have facebook, SIGN UP NOW!!!! It's A MUST!

It was great that most of us are able to make it on the 28th of November. Even though this event was a small gathering among Sincere Friends but it was a memorable memory for all of us as we get to gather around and chat about our past. (I hope)

Leaving high school and going to different college or uni might fade the friendship we used to have therefore let's meet up often and contact each other more often so that our friendship will never end because in our friendship commas exists but not full stop.

People might think that it is useless to have this gathering and tried not to involve but let me say that you will regret because it is fun and when you need someone to talk to or someone to hold to, Sincere Friends are always there for you.

So let's begin with some pictures to describe the atmosphere of that day.
